PNT-TITAN - GEO-REFERENCED PENETROMETER COUPLED IN QUADRICYCLE

QUOTATION SOFTWARE

PNT-2000/TITAN is a product that combines PNT-2000/M functions and a quadricycle, providing more mobility and rapidity in field sampling. This equipment underwent validation tests carried out at the Laboratories of Machines and Mechanization (LAMMA) of Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), Jaboticabal City Campus.

The project was a partnership between DLG Automação and the entity represented by LAMMA researchers, and was developed by a research project supported by the National Scientific and Technological Development Council (CNPq) and DLG.

Composition:

Quadricycle:

• Suzuki Motors, model LT-F160 QUAD-RUNNER, approximately 162 kg, four-stage, air- cooled  monocilynder motor with total 158 cm3 volume, OHC, gasoline powered.

Penetrometer:

• PNT2000/M

Data acquisition Software:

• PNTView

RMSP sampling time:

• Depth of 0 – 55 cm; 55 seconds (shaft descent and ascent)

Lateral protection system:

• Steel structure coupled to the quadricycle side.

Protection system during operation:

• Electronic  Locking Circuit for equipment protection against errors in the operation  sequence.

Mechanical coupling:

• Single structure fixed to quadricycle chassis with screws, without welding or cuts on the original chassis.

Mechanical structure weight:

• 36,5 kg (including penetrometer)
